Richard F. Salluzzo is actually a physician who intends to continue practicing emergency medicine while overseeing the hospitals operations. FYI All TPMG (Kaiser) hospital CEO's (we call them Physician in Chief or PICs) and their assistant chiefs continue to practice in their specialty and take call.
