I was interested in reading more about Pulmonary Associates' success with their EMR. I clicked on the link and learned that there's TROUBLE IN PARADISE. At the end of the article, Dr. DePietro is quoted as saying:

"With the electronic medical system, there's no nuance to it, and the doctors are looking for the nuance of the complaint. It's the difference between machine language and the way people just speak to each other."

The article concludes with: "Pulmonary Associates is looking into new software in which the doctors can continue to dictate notes."

Obama wants to spend $19 billion on these types of systems?!?!

Why do you post under the Anonymous tag (check the spelling), do you work for the competition? Last, I checked there are more than 500+ employees here in MA (and hiring aggressively). In addition, there are implementation offices in NYC and Atlanta and because of the growing work and demand on the West coast, another office will be opening in California this summer. Yes, we also have an office in Mumbai, however it is smaller and meant primarily for after hours help.

The company is doing extremely well in this economy; we are in a solid growth mode and having a positive impact on the local economy.

We are forecasting hiring many employees in our MA and soon to open CA office over the next 2 years.
