The company boasts 575 enterprise customers including employers and payers, and a network of 750,000 providers that leverage patient health data derived from its virtual programs for real-time clinical interventions.

Primary care and telemedicine company Skylight Health Group will sell its medical cannabis-related Canna Care Docs and Relaxed Clarity businesses to New Frontier Data for $8.6 million. Skylight will use the proceeds to purchase more practices and shift its focus entirely to value-based care business models.

Pennsylvania-based startup Vitable Health raises $7.2 million in a seed funding round. The company targets its membership-based in-home and virtual care services to hourly workers. CEO Joseph Kitonga left Penn State last year to launch Vitable Health, taking advantage of Y Combinator and his Thiel Foundation Fellowship to develop the business model.

Sea Mar Community Health Centers (WA) notifies patients of a data breach that occurred between December 2020 and March 2021 when an unauthorized actor copied data from its “digital environment.” DataBreaches.net reports that the hacker listed some of the data for sale on the dark web. Sea Mar did not include that information in their notice to patients.

The local news profiles the Rural Telementoring Training Center, which offers free virtual care training and resources to providers in rural and/or underserved areas looking to adopt or tweak telemedicine services.
