App-based women’s healthcare company Kiira opens its first clinic. The Los Angeles-based office offers gynecology, primary care, mental health, and other wellness services. Kiira will also offer services in the LA area via a mobile clinic. It has raised $4 million since launching its services in 2020.

Tech-enabled women’s healthcare provider Tia opens its first clinic in San Francisco and announces a partnership with UCSF Health that will include technical integrations for shared clinical notes and medical records, care coordination, and quality data reporting.

In Georgia, high school senior Kali Clark will graduate in a few weeks with a degree from Chatooga High School and an associate’s degree from Georgia Northwestern Technical College, which she has attended through Chatooga’s dual-enrollment program. She plans to use her Associate of Applied Science degree in business healthcare technology to pursue a higher degree at a four-year university. Clark, who ranks eighth in her high school class, balanced a rigorous dual course load with competition cheer and numerous part-time jobs. She’d like to eventually attend medical school and become a pediatrician.
